Why pool duty? Don't we have a pool company?
A clean and safe swimming pool makes for happy SilverHawk residents! Pools require a great deal of upkeep, and pool management personnel are charged with keeping the pool chemicals and safety conditions at sanitary operating levels. Taking out trash and pool deck clean up are not part of their contract.
Remember, we all own a little slice of the pool and clubhouse, and we need to share the responsibility. Without proper upkeep and monitoring, a high-use pool environment can quickly deteriorate, which translates into costly (and mandatory) special assessment bills for each lot owner that can run into the thousands of dollars. A pool is often a challenge to manage and maintain, but by pitching in and taking proactive measures to make sure the pool and clubhouse areas are clean, we can make sure the pool is enjoyable all summer long. |
2018 Pool Duty Volunteer SignupThe Pool Duty Sign Up Page and Schedule are posted. Thank you for taking an active investment in your community by volunteering for pool duty this summer! We need two families per week for adequate coverage. The duties should not take more than half an hour each night. Alternate nights with the other family or show up together and divide duties each night - however you'd like to do it! If you volunteer and cannot make it, it is your responsibility to find a replacement to cover your duty. Please notify the board with any changes.
